Bell peppers

Carrots

Brilliant colors…

You gotta have the garlic and ginger

Marinaded chicken pieces…

Good stuff.
My parents made this alot when I was a kid. Just put some Beef (Stew Cut), Carrots, Tomatoes, and Potatoes (1 hour before serving for the potatoes) into a slow cooker. 3-4 hours later, you’ll be feeling warm and cozy.

The Beef

The Wait

Good for the Boston Winter days…

Worth a second look
A good combination for a quick to prepare dinner can consisted of almost anything, but tonight I’ve chosen pan-fried pork chops, boiled green beans, and wild rice pilaf. The boiled green beans and wild rice pilaf are rather simple, so I won’t go into those. But do make sure you cut off the two ends of the green bean stalk before cooking, the Chinese restaurant way is to use the back of a spoon.
Pan-Fried Pork Chops
Lay the chopped pork chops on a flat surface, sprinkle on kosher salt and fresh grounded pepper. Those two spices will bring out the taste of the pork chops. Then, very lightly coat the pork chops with breadcrubm. Turn pork chops over and repeat.
Pan fried the pork chops until golden brown and serve right away.

Laurel Grill & Bar, Boston (map)
Fancy restaurant in the heart of Boston. Too bad the service and the food stank. I went here with a bunch of good friends (party of 20+) to celebrate a birthday, and was greatly disappointed with the lack of service, poor food quality, and crappy restaurant ambience.
Don’t get me wrong, the people I went with were fantastic. But the whole dinner lasted 3 hours. It literally took at an hour to get our food. Even the simplest task of keeping water cups full was unaccomplished, completely atrocious for a fancy restaurant in the city of Boston.
