The title Platinum Chef came from the college days when my roommates and I would take turns cooking every week and host a laid-back dinner for friends. The kick was trying to out perform the meals from the previous week, think Udon Noodles w/ Shrimp Tempora followed by Filet Mignon wrapped in Prosciutto.
We started out by calling ourselves Titanium Chefs, a geeky parody title of Iron Chef. But like anything you do in life, practice makes you better. So after a semester or two of cooking, we upgraded ourselves to Platinum Chefs.
Just looking up Dragon Fruit and came across your website. I work for an HEB Grocery store (Texas based) and a young man bought a dragon fruit last night and I was so interested that I came home and Googled the name to find out more. Very interesting. Like your recipes Chef Mo.
